About On Guard

On Guard Traffic Control by Sojourn (formerly Sojourn Traffic Control) has been in business since March of 1989. In this time we have become an industry leader in providing work sites that protect both workers and the motoring public.

On Guard Traffic Control by Sojourn provides traffic control services for clients of all sizes - from small contractors to large construction companies to multiple levels of government.

Our staff are safety certified by the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association and are fully qualified for any scenario the work place may involve. Our traffic control team has planned and executed jobs that range from a phone line across a quiet side street to detours of up to 30 kilometres.

We have the people and equipment to handle all of your traffic control needs!

Sojourn Abroad

It has always been a desire of Sojourn and its employees to give back and help those less fortunate – both in our community and around the world.

Every year, Sojourn helps sponsor employees who embark on short term mission trips around the world to reach out to those in need through organizations such as Compassion Canada and Go Missions.

To date, our employees have made a difference in Belize, India, Scotland, Sweden, England, New York, Ukraine, Estonia, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Bolivia and Poland.

In addition to our work abroad, Sojourn has been involved with many projects including building houses, church restoration, and assisting in orphanages and community carnivals that reach out to those who are most in need of help.
